摘要: In this talk, we will introduce some facts about hyperbolic spaces in the senseof Gromov. Then we will recall two kinds of uniformizing Gromov hyperbolic spaces theory which play an important role in several areas. That is, given a Gromov hyperbolic metric space, we may define a class of conformal densities such that the deformed spaces admit "nice" geometric and analytic properties just like the unit disc/balls and half spaces. The first one (bounded case) was considered by Gromov, Bonk, Heinonen and Koskela. The second one(unbounded case) was introduced by using Busemann functions.

报告人简介: 周青山，佛山科学技术学院副教授。研究兴趣为拟共形映射与度量空间上的分析。目前在Forum Math., Israel J. Math., Stud. Math., J.Geom. Anal., Proc. Amer. Math. Soc.,C. R. Math. Acad. Sci. Paris等期刊发表多篇论文。
